Binance Network Support Cutoff: AVA, GNS and TOWNS
Binance stopped supporting selected deposit and withdrawal routes for AVA, GNS and TOWNS, creating wrong-network deposit risk.
Crypto Support & Research Desk
Binance has stopped supporting several token-network combinations, including GNS on Polygon and TOWNS on BNB Smart Chain and Base. AVA support on Solana has ended, while the AVA BNB Smart Chain cutoff was extended to October 14, 2026.
Why a correct token can still fail
Crypto deposits depend on both the token and the network. Sending the right token through a network the exchange no longer supports can result in a deposit that is not credited. Binance explicitly warns that deposits through discontinued routes may lead to asset loss.
Before sending any affected token
Open the Binance deposit screen first and confirm that the exact network is currently offered. Do not rely on an old saved address or a previous successful transfer. If a transfer has already been sent through an unsupported route, preserve the transaction hash and contact official Binance support without sending another test transaction.
What changed after the original announcement
Binance later extended AVA deposits and withdrawals on BNB Smart Chain by 30 days, moving that cutoff to October 14. That update makes current network verification especially important because not every route has the same deadline.
